Hello,
I labored in a pool exactly like the on the link just recently. I am not sure where it came from, my midwife found it and let me buy it from her. :)
How to fill the pool: you can hook a garden hose to your washer water hook ups or buy an adapter for your sink/tub faucet that will allow you to hook up a garden hose to them. We found an adapter for our tub faucet at Lowes. We chose to buy a drinking water safe hose from Wal-mart (it was in the RV section).
Have a blessed day!

The pool pictured is identical to the one I labored in (and saved for next time). I ordered it online. I have not seen it in any stores. For filling it up, my hubby attached hose to the hot water for washing machine. It produced some nice and warm water. Midwife and my hubby also added some cooler water, so it would not be too hot.To keep water temp nice when I got out of pool (I was in and out a lot), we put a shower curtain on top of it. I am sure your midwife is quite a pro at getting the birth pool just right!Blessings!
By the way, to keep the water temp nice and warm, my doula would heat water in my pots, and pour the water into the tub.Maybe that is what the hot water is for, that they always talk about in the movies!lol
don't know where to find the pool..but why not order it online through the place that you used the link?
and do you mean fill it with air or water? to fill with air tell hubs to take it to the local gas station where they have the air for tires and fill it or get a small foot pump or find a friend with a compressor
to fill with water? a hose is a lovely item.
have a great day!!!
My midwife reccomended ones from Target (make sure you get one that has inflatable "padding on the bottom" )or you will be unconfortable, she used just a bucket to fill and empty, only bad part is that I'm 5'10, not as confortable as I'd hoped.
